The idea is to demonstrate to officials and people meter Policy Institute for Transportation and Development, the initiative we have proposed some of support among users. So: join and invite your acquaintances.
Yesterday (Thursday, 25 March) raised a good debate in which several people were involved (you can see the hashtag # usuariosmetrodf on Twitter). For most participants it was a good idea that I propose, although others seemed as irrelevant, inadequate or unnecessary. Already said before and will repeat it now: one seeks to eradicate all the ills of public transport, just want to move better when we travel on the Metro. However, as the post with the justification and the proposal was very long I decided to separate. Lean here to justify the project.
Here I go again, though with little pictures and videos for more didactic and clear the proposal.
The idea is simple and common sense.
1. In the Metro escalators are not just to "rest", but to facilitate the mobility of users.
2. There is a basic principle of mobility in Mexico just is respected: "row on the left is to advance the right to stop." In Mexico, people usually stop wherever he wants, when he wants to create "traffic waves" that prevent efficient mobility to users.

3. This rule is not respected, not because we are Mexicans genetically incapable of following rules, but because 1) much people have no idea that this rule exists, 2) no one dares to say anything.

Anyway, yesterday I contacted people in the Management of Metro Fixtures, by Adrian Hernandez Cortez and I said there, in total, 357 escalators throughout the network and, indeed, almost no one respects this rule even though in some places this listing.
A colorful ad, yellow, fabulous design that is strategically placed so that all users will see and understand clearly the simple message. Aha, it's obviously sarcasm.
The point of all is this:
People, if they are frequent travelers Metro, we can help spread the basic concept mobility every time we use this transport system. However, a campaign based solely on the "hey, give me compermisito please "be in a vacuum and no one peel. Thus, the proposal is:
1. Collect at least 200 frequent users of the Metro who are willing to collaborate.
2 . request that we provide a distinctive (a badge, flag, hat, etc.) that identifies us as part of a campaign of "effective mobility" of the Metro Public Transport System.
3. Require will make a new poster (may be through a contest, maybe), more attractive and friendly, which is positioned on each and every one of the 357 escaleras eléctricas de la red.
4. Una vez con el distintivo, los voluntarios tendríamos el encargo de que cada vez que usemos las escaleras eléctricas difundamos y repliquemos como mantra el siguiente mensaje: "la fila de la izquierda es para avanzar, la de la derecha es para descansar."
Y ya. En eso estriba toda la idea. No tengo dinero, ni los del Metro tienen dinero para promover algo de mayor calado. Lo siento mucho si les parece demasiado poco. Lo siento mucho si les parece demasiado irrelevante.
